Get to know David Adamthwaite

I’ve been working in financial services for 40 years now. I started in regular banking with Midland Bank (HSBC) in London and moved to work in Birmingham Corporate Banking in 1986. Since 1995 I’ve been providing financial advice to personal clients and commercial clients. Formally with HSBC and then through Prosperity Wealth from 2008. I’m happy to do either. My banking background has given me a insight into the world of business and the issues that business owners face too. I really enjoy creating a plan to help people to realise their dreams, for the majority it’s being able to retire sooner rather than later. That’s my favourite area of advice, at retirement. Most people are frightened that they might make bad decisions which will leave them regretting their choices but being able to take away that fear is a reward that is worth more than money. I’m a relaxed, easy going person, always happy to chat with people and share my experiences to put them at ease. I instill confidence in clients thus enabling them to get the most out of their lives.
